Preparing for Hurricane Season

Preparing for Hurricane Season

The District is gearing up for the upcoming Storm Season, aiming to document pre- and post-disaster conditions. Collaborating with the Florida Division of Emergency Management (FDEM) and our County Emergency Management office, we've enlisted "DebrisTech" to conduct surveys of all accessible roads in our area using 360-degree cameras and LiDAR technology. The resulting documentation will serve as a supplementary visual resource to aid in disaster recovery efforts. Our goal is to complete this task before the peak of the 2024 hurricane season. Once the survey begins, we'll inform residents of the service schedule.

For awareness, we've included an image of one of the vehicles (colors may vary) that will be traversing our District roads in the coming weeks.

Should you have any questions, feel free to reach out to our security office.
